The Syroam Solis Lite has been a life saver for me on my traveling adventures. I recently moved into a campground with unsecured WiFi and I needed an option to do my work online. This little pocket hot spot did the trick. It is a hot spot ,so yes, you do have to purchase a data plan.

How Solis Lite Works
Solis Lite Global Wi-Fi Hot spot provides a fast 4G LTE WI-FI. It is easy to carry as it is the size of the palm of your hand measuring 88mm by 23 mm. It connects up to 10 devices. It is a portable charger for you devices and has a 16-hour battery life. It connects in 135+ countries. You truly have a pocket size hot spot for WiFi anywhere any time.
Solis has a downloadable app for the use of the product. It features of course the connection to the device, Chat support, and access to data plan options. It is all in one place. Easy to set up. Fast support.
Solis uses signal scan technology that allows you to switch mobile carriers to the strongest carrier in a particular location. So where ever you are, you can hit the signal scan button and it will find the strongest signal. Most hot spots do not do that. They are typically only going to connect to AT&T or Verizon towers. Solis is a versatile all in one connecting (meaning towers) hot spot.
Quality
The Solis lite device has a fantastic smooth velvet like covering. It is orange which makes it easy to find. You can imagine a pocket size device can get lost. It is very visual stimulating making it stand out over all others in the industry. The power button lights up in a bright LED cool tone to alert you to its operation. It signals when it is connected when the 3 dots light up. Then you are ready to connect. It takes about 3-5 minutes to load and connect.
Review
The Solis light offers super fast 4G service that I rarely get any hiccups with. Sometimes when you are in a bad area it will tell you through the downloadable app that you need to do the signal scan to find a stronger carrier. You will notice it drops off-line when it doesn’t have a strong signal.
Support
Solis Lite has a chat section within the app. I used it one time as my data went down drastically when I did an update on my laptop and my phone. Support got right back to me within minutes with a detailed explanation as of why that happened. The support is A#1 in my opinion. The support I received was well after the 9 to 5 hustle and it was lightning quick. I had an answer to my question in the matter of minutes.
Guarantee
Solis offers a 1-year warranty of their product. This is a great deal of time to use your product. Should anything happen to your device they will honor the warranty.

Happy Traveling!
Wahoo, it sounds great. Permit me to call myself a nomadic freelancer. I travel a lot to locations where I cannot guarantee safety. Solis lite looks like an answer to my cry. With its guaranteed 4g services and the convenience of carring it around. Top of it is the effective cost of data usage. I will give it a trial
I believe you will be pleasantly surprised. I am happy you found this helpful. Let us know how you like it. Happy Traveling!
This sounds awesome. I work from home and since I have the flexibility to work wherever I want, this information is so so helpful because sometimes I want to work at the beach but it is impossible due to the interference and lack of signal. I will definitely give it a try, I think this is for sure, a problem solver
Hi Katherine, yes this is a problem solver. At least it was for me. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine.
The Solis Lite seems to be an amazing way to connect when traveling. It is small and apparently easy to use. We travel in our RV and internet service is often spotty in the more remote places we are in. We have never tried a personal linking system like this although we have reviewed a few. This one seems the most practical. My understanding is that if the data plan we pay for is weak, it would switch to another source. The monthly fee is for that service with the solis lite. I am not sure about the pricing as listed. In the U.S. by GB it is $8-100/GB. What does that range mean. You article has introduced this unique product. I think it would be a tremendous help to us in our travels. I can going to do a bit more research to understand function and pricing better, but will book mark this page to purchase. Thanks for this information.
Jim
Hi Jim. Maybe I should explain the pricing a bit for you. The data plans are listed in a range. When you buy one GB it is $8 on the go data plan. After one GB you pay based on how many GB you think you will use in a month. So, I usually buy the 20 GB to use in one month or until it runs out, and it is $100. The other plans listed are ranges as you have to decide which plan best suits you and how you will be using it. What I love most about the Solis Lite is if I am traveling down a road in a car I can use my hotspot and as the signal gets weak it allows me to connect to a different carrier’s tower. You are not limited on the carrier like some other hot spots.
This little device sounds like it’s definitely worth the investment. My husband and I have been thinking about traveling for a while but I was concerned about having the ability to safely connect to the internet to keep working on my business.
The Solis Lite will give me peace of mind since I won’t have to use others’ Wi-Fi connections.
Yes! Absolutely. I use mine all the time for business and pleasure while traveling.
